Event Description

ADDITONAL SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS: Please have a ground sheet under your truck in the pits. COVID-19 INFORMATION: COMPETITORS: All entries are done online and Competitors must have a valid Vaccine Pass to enter. No entries will be accepted from any competitor where their region of residence is locked down. All competitors and crew must acknowledge they are fit and healthy prior to the attendance. Attendees must adhere to all government COVID-19 regulations and guidelines - If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, stay home, please do not attend this event. Hand Sanitizer should be used CONTACT TRACING QR codes must be scanned. Competitors and staff will have a QR code at the pit entry. Spectators will have a QR code to scan at the event entry gate. SPECTATORS: Spectators will be allowed to attend the event. Spectators will be given their own wrist banned once they have paid to enter and had their vaccine pass checked. They will be under strict instructions to remain more than two meters away from all staff, competitors and other spectators. They will be asked to leave if they cannot comply. Spectator zones will be tapped out on the course. Officials will monitor these zones to ensure social distancing and the 100 person limit is not exceeded in each zone. Each zone will have its own toilet. Spectators can move between zones (defined spaces). SCRUTINEERING: We will advise the competitors of their allocated time slot to arrive at scrutineering. This is to ensure that numbers are kept to 100 people limit. The allocated times will be given based on travel distance for example the closer you live the earlier your time slot will be. Face masks to be worn with two meters of anyone during scrutineering. All competitors and crew will be issued wrist bands at scrutineering check-in upon scanning their valid Vaccine Pass. These are required for entry to the event. Only the driver and co-driver will enter the scrutineering bay.PITS: The pits will be broken into zones, with no more than 100 people per zone. Each zone will be clearly marked out and will be 2 meters from the next zone. It is strongly recommended to wear face masks in your zones. Each zone will have their own toilet and will not be able to mingle with other zones or use their facilities. Any crew or competitors that are caught mingling with other Zones may be excluded from the event. DRIVERS BRIEFING: Only Drivers & Navigators will attend. Face masks are mandatory and teams will be 1m distanced. COMPETITOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CREW ALLOCATED TO YOUR TRUCK.. Face masks are strongly recommended on course and socially distancing from other crews. THE CREW: Will not interact with the marshals and must stay at least 2m from them. They will stay with the truck they are supporting all day. (NO HANGING AROUND HAZARDS WATCHING) Will be required to show their wristband for entry, if no wristband no entry. ANY CREW NOT adhering to these rules and COVID-19 rules & guidelines will be asked to leave the site instantly and run the risk of their truck also been removed from the event. Each event entry will be allowed a maximum of 8 crew. This is to help us manage our zones within the pits and make sure we stay well under 100 people together in any space on the course. BREAK DOWNS: If you break down. You can catch up on missed sections before returning to your group like normal. You must remain a minimum of 2 meters from other competitors and crews when doing this. ON SITE FOOD & PRIZE GIVING: There will be no catering onsite. We will hold prizegiving at the end of the event in the pits for competitors and crews only. Everyone must stay in their zones and wear a mask when approaching officials to collect prizes. COMPETITORS: Please indicate on your entry how many crew you will have with you so we can get the correct amount of wrist bands. On course competitors will practice social distancing from other teams. On re-entry to pits at the end of a session, you will return to your zone from there the co-driver will hand in the scorecard following social distancing guidelines and wearing a face mask, then return to their zone. Competitors must use their own pen. Any competitor not adhering to COVID rules and guidelines will be removed from the event, no questions asked. Please ensure that this is forwarded to all crew members, so they are aware of the rules. SCRUTINEERING: Will be held at 1051 Tahuna Road, Waiterimu. Same as the last couple of Counties rallies. There will be camping on site both nights. EVENT ADDRESS: 1051 Tahuna Road, Waiterimu. DRIVERS BRIEFING AT: 8:30am. PRIZEGIVING will be onsite and start at 5pm, THERE WILL BE NO CATERING.
